Integrative Medicine Healing Center was born in 1998 fulfilling Dr Mutter's dream to provide compassionate medical care that bridges conventional western medicine, osteopathic practices and principles along with many other forms of healing--truly integrative care. It is this blending of new and old medical wisdom that enables Dr. Mutter to address the whole person: find safe and effective ways to treat existing illness; provide tools for prevention of disease; help to maintain health and well-being.  

Osteopathy is at the heart of Dr. Mutter's medical philosophy- utilizing the art of osteopathic manipualtion therapy (OMT) to alleviate pain, re-balance the body energetically and physically, and improve overall structure and function. This gentle hands-on therapy can often provide immediate pain relief and functional improvement whether the condition is acute or chronic. It may take several sessions to achieve desired results and most patients choose to continue regular maintenance treatments as they find improvement in overall quality of life. The utilization of OMT in conjunction with nutritional and lifestyle guidance, as well as attending to the emotional and spiritual needs of each indidvidual, is the foundation of her healing work. She understands that each person has a unique set of life experiences that has brought them to their current situation.  This life story must be considered in finding the root cause of illness or imbalance. 

Dr. Mutter considers the relationship between patient and physician paramount to successful healthcare. She believes that her most important healing tools to be the practice of presence and love for each patient. Dr Mutter empowers her patients to find their own inner healing wisdom so that health, vitality, and joy may be restored.
